Is Israel more powerful than UN?

Ban Ki-moon, the UN Secretary General, expressed deep concern over the latest Israeli decision to approve further construction in the occupied Palestinian territory and said “such actions are contrary to international law.”

Did you understand what that meant?

Okay let me repeat, Ban ki-moon, the UN Secretary General believes that the Israels decision of expanding itself in Occupied area of Palestine is against International Law!

The Head of United Nations knows that Israel is going against the International Law by building in occupied terrorities of Palestine! He knows it well, so does he tells everyone. But is the International court of law stopping Israel? the answer is NO!

Israel openly assaults the International laws and yet no one takes its accountability. Why? because its more powerful than UN itself!

This is open biasness. How can a country just go against International Law? When it comes to Iran going against the International law in building up its nuclear power, UN slaps sanctions on Iran. But why doesn’t it take action in this case or any other violation done by Israel??

Is he listening?

Is he listening?

Washington is supposedly pushing the stopping of these settlements, says CNN. So does this prove that Israel is more powerful than US?? Let those patriotic Americans who keep shouting “America is greatest” hear this :-)

Analysis of history of Israels occupation shows how clever and cunning Israel has been in expanding its borders. Every time they start illegal expansion, a hue and cry starts which is then covered up by series of peace talks. But then did someone observe? the job is already done and Israel has already expanded its border! :-)

16 hours to track YSR’s Chopper? Seriously pathetic!

Chief Minister Y.S.R

Chief Minister Y.S.R

This question comes amid the Sad demise of Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Y Rajasekhar Reddy, whose body was found with 4 others this morning. All 5 of them were found lying along with the chopper in the jungles of Nallamala, somewhere near the district of kurnool, A.P, India.

Just to give you a backdrop of events which started on Wednesday at 9: 30 am. Chief Minister, Mr Y S R reaches the Old airport at Begumpet, Hyderabad to board his helicopter. He was planning to give a surprise visit to the proceedings of drought that had hit Chittoor region.

Starting for a good cause, the helicopter stayed in contact with Head Quarters uptil an hour after which suddenly the contact was lost.Raising Emergency, the security officials pressed search teams into action to locate the chopper.

Facts that Puzzle

Every helicopter, as per aviation sources, is equipped with High Frequency as well as Very High Frequency sets. When Crash happens,  these sets might not function if the external antennae gets destroyed due to the impact of crash.

But what puzzles me is that every helicopter is expected to have an Emergency Locating Transmitter (ELT) fixed to the body of aircraft, while the pilot is expected to carry a Personal Recovery Beacon (PRB). In the event of a Crash, Emergency Locating Transmitter (ELT) starts giving distress signals and the PRB, once activated, would start beaming the Global Positioning System (GPS) ‘latlong’ (latitude and longitude) details.

However, it took 16 hours before they could track down the chopper. The question that arises is: In this world of Technology, what took these security officials 16 hours to track down a chopper? Couldnt they traced down the last appeared location via tracking device like GPS etc?? Leave aside that, how about escort choppers, werent they along with the CM’s chopper???

These questions are now popping up, amidst the mourning of CM’s death. This man was loved by many in Andhra and had come back to power in the recent elections with a whopping margin. The death of a person having such a reputation will not be forgotten in silence.

Of course searching a missing helicopter in the forest of Nallamala which is roughly 300 sq. km. was surely a daunting task indeed for the police and other search teams, who have scanned through the thick forest area which was once a Maoist stronghold. But when are we going to use technology to cut down the manpower and get accurate and faster results??? Why have we sent satellites up in space? To watch movies only???

16 hours in jungle? Even a healthy person can give up struggling to survive, leave aside the injured. Who knows CM and others might have been injured for long time and died due to the delay in search??

These questions will surely be asked and answer will be awaited. Let’s wait and watch how those who are in authority will respond to this unfortunate event!

My heart felt condolences to the family and friends of Chief Minister Mr. Y Rajasekhar Reddy. The Tiger of Cuddapa has been put to silence. :-(

Will Sarkozy ban the “Swineflu Veil” too?

Hijab has been a “hot” issue for past two decades. It can also be called as one of the top misunderstood concept of the world. Ironically though, this subject is so simple to understand that even my 3 year old can give the most logical reasons for it.

With several western politicians coming out openly in denouncing the concept of Hijab, there is even more staunch response from the Muslims. Little do these politicians know that the more they push Muslim women to drop their veils, the more they would get staunch in following it. All this “NO Hijab” shouting show how desperate these politicians are to look at others mothers, wives and daughters. (Let their respective wives take a note of this :-) )

Without going into details, lets check this little coincidence.

Nicolas Sarkozy, speaking to a joint session of parliament in Versailles, announced that he is on the side of those who prohibit the use of Hijab. He pretended to speak for woman’s rights and declared himself to be against individual freedom. (This was the first such speech by a french president in 136 years).Nicolas-Sarkozy-at-the-Verasa

He said “In our country, we cannot accept that women be prisoners behind a screen, cut off from all social life, deprived of all identity,” he said to rolling applause. “The burqa is not a religious sign, it’s a sign of subservience, a sign of debasement – I want to say it solemnly: It will not be welcome on the territory of the French Republic.”

He further said He said: “The problem of the burka is not a religious problem, it’s a problem of liberty and woman’s dignity. It’s not a religious symbol, but a sign of subservience and debasement. I want to say solemnly, the burka is not welcome in France. In our country, we can’t accept women prisoners behind a screen, cut off from all social life, deprived of all identity. That’s not our idea of freedom.”

And guess what, 50 more politicians backed him up, giving applause on his words! Wolah!! So now we know that french politicians are as dumb as their other western counterparts, who don’t know how to implement the secular laws of their country. The Secular law of France quotes that every individual has the right to freedom. So what if a woman wants to do Hijab only because God commanded her to do so? Are you going to arrest her too?? If so then where is the right to freedom in France???

Someone might say “No woman wants to be in Hijab”. Thats because you ask the wrong women. Imagine, people asking a woman who poses in Bikini for advertisement, what she feels about Hijab! This is just like, you approach a farmer and ask him what he feels about the Mesothelioma! :-)

Its time that these people grow up and begin asking those who really want to do Hijab. But hey hold on! Can we please ask those who really want to do Hijab and not those who are forced into it???

Sarkozy has surely put a Ban on Islamic Veil in France. But will he be fair enough in putting a Ban on Swine flu Veil as well??? :-)

Is US the Perfect country in terms of domestic issues?

We have always heard about water cut and electricity cut in India. This is normal for us and we don’t take this as a big deal. But did we ever imagine that this will happen in US as well….we all think that US is perfect, as if nothing goes wrong there. They have a solution for every problem and everything is so developed in those countries. It came as a surprise to me when my friend called me up and told me that they had no water supply for the entire night yesterday. If this did not surprise you, then read on.

The water supply cut was not just limited to his house but it was for the entire city. Whoa!! The whole city was without water for one complete night. Now this doesn’t flash in news channel and doesn’t get reported. Wait a minute was this coz of some terrorist attack….lol…m sure if this thing got reported it would have come from the same lines….this is how US deals with such issues….puts the blame on something or the other and walks off hands clean…

When will the world learn this and we IT’ians are dying to go there and work for that country and develop their country instead of our own land where we were born…ok am I sounding like one anti-US person. No definitely I am not but I really fail to understand why we give so much hype to the western world when we get everything in our own country…. I think the youth these days watch a lot of movies and television shows (as such every movie is shot either in New York or in Los Angeles) and get mesmerized by the foreign locations they show and think that it is some kind of paradise there where you don’t have to struggle to earn money. On the contrary, it’s quite opposite. You end up working even harder there to earn your living forgetting your family and your own life.

Yes, go there, but not at the cost of lying, falling in debts or even cheating the consulate. i am sure you know what i am talking about. Half of people who end up in US do go the wrong way. So let not a countries amazing power elude you into doing sinful things. Be truthful, and i am sure you will get your success.

Okay…I have flushed enough about that country…i hope no one belonging to US or any of the US fans are  listening…I might as well end up getting some bad comments here…But i am not being too negative about US. Let me also throw some positive points. The general public out there are amazing people. When i say amazing, i really mean it. Very good mannered, polite and professional. And surely there are many positives about that country as it is a super power of the world (atleast thats what most of the people say).

So guess i have leveled the positives and negatives about US!  Happy now? :-)

My first post on this Blog

Assalam alaikum Wa rahmatullahi Wa Barkatahu

Dear Readers, Its been long since i wanted to launch my own blog, making a presence on the world wide web, the world of 1 Billion people. However, it always got delayed until i turned 30 now. Gosh!, i am 30 years old, which means if the average life of human is 60 years, then i am done with half my life. I don’t even feel that i am ready for death! Actually that feeling stays with us till our end since we end up falling short on many commands of God. Irrespective of that feeling, we yet hope that our Lord will forgive all our sins and grant us success on the Day of Judgment.

Allah best knows when my time will come, but nevertheless, i have finally sat down to launch my blog, an unofficial diary, about my life, activities, hobbies and the quest of gaining knowledge. Hope you enjoy reading it and do keep me in your Prayers!
